My loving husband pointed out that the comment of “Ye of little faith” was actually in reference to Thomas after Jesus’ resurrection and Thomas stated he would believe it when he touched the holes in his hands and feet. Well, looking it up, it is actually in several parts of the bible. These are the verses that contain the exact phrase:
- Matthew 6:30 (Whole Chapter)
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
- Matthew 8:26 (Whole Chapter)
And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
- Matthew 16:8 (Whole Chapter)
Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason yeamong yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
- Luke 12:28 (Whole Chapter)
If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
